1. Introduction

Mengel Enterprises LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PulseHub platform, including its website and mobile apps (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you register: name, email address, organization name and role, and billing information (processed by our payment processor for website purchases, or by Apple or Google for purchases made in the iOS or Android app — we do not store full payment card details).

2.2 Platform Usage Data

We automatically collect features and dashboards accessed, session duration, click interactions, API call metadata, and device/browser information. If the mobile app crashes or hits an error, a crash report (device model, operating system, app version and the error details) may be sent to Sentry, our crash-reporting provider. If you allow notifications, we store your device's push token.

2.3 Connected Source Data

PulseHub aggregates metrics and operational data from applications and systems you connect to the Service (for example advertising and social accounts such as Meta and LinkedIn, Shopify, and work tools such as Atlassian Jira). If you link a business bank account (available in the United States), the connection is made through Plaid: you sign in to your bank in Plaid's own screens, and we receive account names, balances and transactions, never your bank login credentials. We process this data solely to provide the Service and do not use it for our own purposes.

2.3A Sign-In Providers

If you sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft, we receive your name, email address and a sign-in identifier from that provider.

2.4 Communications

We retain records of support and other communications you send to us.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Authenticate users and maintain session security
  • Send transactional communications
  • Monitor for misuse or Terms of Service violations
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising and we do not sell personal information.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with:

  • Service providers that operate the Service for us, each receiving only what its role needs: the providers listed in Section 10.
  • Your organization administrators: Administrators may view usage activity and access logs.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government authority.
  • Business transfers: In connection with a merger or acquisition, with prior notice.

4A. AI Features

The PulseHub assistant and other AI features are optional. When you use one, your request and the workspace information needed to answer it (for example contacts, campaigns, tasks or finance data you have stored or connected) are sent to an AI model: OpenAI GPT models via Microsoft Azure OpenAI and, for some requests, Anthropic Claude via Microsoft Foundry. PulseHub sends this data to no other AI provider. The app asks your permission before the first time any of your data is sent to an AI model, and you can withdraw that permission at any time in Settings; AI features then stay off until you allow them again. Your data is not used to train AI models.

5. Connected Source Data

When you connect third-party applications to PulseHub, you are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate authorization. We act as a data processor with respect to any personal data in your connected source data.

6. Data Security

We implement TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and Microsoft Application Insights monitoring.

7. Data Retention

Account and billing data: retained for subscription duration plus 90 days. Usage logs: 12 months. Connected source data cached by PulseHub is deleted upon account termination.

8. Your Rights

8.1 All Users

You may access or update account information through platform settings and request deletion by contacting privacy@pulsehub.studio, or follow the steps on our Delete your account page.

8.2 California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to Know, Delete, and Opt-Out of Sale (we don't sell personal information). Email privacy@pulsehub.studio with "CCPA Request" in the subject. We will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for enterprise users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

10. Third-Party Integrations

The third parties that process data for PulseHub:

  • Microsoft Azure: hosting and database; Azure OpenAI Service and Microsoft Foundry (AI features, Section 4A); Azure Communication Services (account and notification email); Application Insights (service monitoring).
  • Apple, Google and Microsoft: optional sign-in.
  • Plaid: bank account linking, if you choose it (United States).
  • Expo push service, which relays notifications to Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, if you allow notifications.
  • Sentry: crash reports from the mobile app.
  • Stripe and PayPal: website payments. Apple App Store and Google Play: in-app purchases.
  • The third-party applications you choose to connect. Each has its own privacy practices; we are not responsible for their data practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically and will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
